The San Diego Biotechnology Discussion Group (SDBDG) is a non-profit volunteer organization dedicated to promoting a greater understanding of the local biomedical industry and facilitating quality networking within the industry. We are pleased to be in our 26th year now. BioTalk meetings are held quarterly.

Date

Our meetings provide a convenient and enjoyable forum for learning about exciting new businesses and technologies and keeping up-to-date on the dynamics of the biomedical industry in San Diego. Moreover, BioTalk meetings act as a catalyst for the development of business-related and scientific ideas, and for the establishment of valuable professional relationships. Additionally, attendees are encouraged to share information about employment opportunities and various professional activities in the San Diego area.

Our meetings are made possible through the generosity and assistance of Cushman & Wakefield.

Meetings are held once a quarter on a Wednesday. The meetings begin with a social hour from 5:30 - 6:30 PM, with food and beverages provided by various corporate sponsors. The happy hour is followed by general announcements and a brief presentation by the corporate sponsor. The meeting culminates with a feature presentation showcasing a different local company at each meeting. There is no need to apply for membership in the group or pre-register for any meetings. Participation in the group is open to all interested individuals and is completely free of charge.
